Celtic ace Tom Rogic has been described by BBC Sport pundit Michael Stewart as “sublime” for his Boxing Day display.
The 29-year-old continues to go from strength to strength for the Hoops under Ange Postecoglou.
On Sunday, Rogic delivered two assists for Celtic as they ran out 3-1 winners at St Johnstone.
Liel Abada opened the scoring for the Bhoys after just nine minutes.
The 20-year-old bundled home at the second attempt after Josip Juranovic squared the ball to him.
Rogic pulled the strings in midfield and got the first of his two assists in the 22nd minute.
He unlocked the opposition defence with a deft through-ball for Abada, who duly slotted into the far post.
Although Chris Kane halved the deficit with a 69th-minute header, Rogic then set up Nir Bitton for Celtic’s third.
Stewart loved what he saw from the £400,000 Hoops ace.
“Tom Rogic is playing on a bit of a quagmire of a park but it certainly doesn’t show,” he said (26/12, 13:28).
“He’s been sublime.”
Rogic has clocked up 29 appearances for Celtic this season.
Of those, 17 have come in the Scottish Premiership and seven in the Europa League.
Rogic has already made more starts in the top-flight than he managed during the entirety of last season.
He has now surpassed the number of assists, as well as also scoring two more goals than last term.
